Hinsdale Elementary School was closed, a group of residents, elected officials and construction experts have worked toward a plan to reopen the building and resume classes by fall 2019. The total projected cost for the renovation project is $2.9 million, with the potential for state construction grants of $1.3 million for Phase 1, and about $933,000 for Phase 2.
