A public hearing was held on bonding for the road repairs, during which Town Council Chair Victoria Triano said two residents spoke in favor. Later, the council voted unanimously to go ahead with it. “The roads are repaired based on their condition,” explained Triano. “We go out and check their condition and then assign them a numerical place. No one is getting favoritism on road construction. We now have a plan in place that will keep our roads viable and in order. Within three or four years, all of our roads will be looked at and brought to a high standard.”
