Customers vent against Eversource Energy at regulatory hearing in Branford

A settlement reached in January between Connecticut’s Office of Consumer Counsel and Eversource Energy regarding an increase in distribution rates isn’t sitting well with some of the utility’s customers, if a regulatory hearing held Wednesday night is any indication. A decision in the rate case is scheduled for mid-April. The new rates, if approved by PURA, will take effect May 1.
