Construction on the building at 8 Linsley St. is finished and the department is fully operational in the renovated building. The renovation of the building cost about $14 million and a new townwide communications project, which included a network built in to the school district, cost roughly $4 million. The renovation will meet the department’s needs for the next 30 years, according to the architectural analysis.
