The $50 million expansion of Danbury High School is on budget and on time, with one exception, school district leaders said this week. Tile is down and the finishing touches will be completed in the coming weeks on the addition that will serve as the 24-classroom freshman academy, which will segregate ninth graders from the older classes to help them get used to the new school environment.
