The crew of about 40 is expected to complete the job in late October, with time to spare before the start of the basketball season. With a crew that specializes in dome repair on site, the project began in May. The crew worked seven days last week, making up for rain days— it’s impossible to do exterior work during inclement weather — and they repair an average of about 35 or 40 tiles per day, although the rate could increase throughout the summer.
